GET TOGETHER

A delegation from Skal Korea visited Turku, Finland for the 2011 Skal World Congress from September 18 ~ 22. During this time, Skal Korea with the generous assistance of Korea Tourism Organization, Seoul Tourism Organization and Incheon Tourism Organization promoted next year's congress in Seoul & Incheon. The first event was the Get Together Party held at the Radisson BLU Marina Hotel and some photographs from this event are included below:

OPENING CEREMONY

The Opening Ceremony for the 2011 Skal World Congress in Turku was held in Logomo which is a restored Locomotive repair facility which is now a museum and exhibition centre. Prior to the ceremony, Skal Korea delegates had the chance to network with new Skalleagues from around the world as well as greet old friends. A circus troupe performed during this time to warm up the crowd.  Once inside, the event started with an aerial display from illuminated model planes which flew over the audience. Following the Awards ceremony and parade of banners, the local circus troupe once more entertained with a "fire circus" performance. Photos from the opening ceremony are featured below:
